Habitat programs center around the idea of a partnership between Habitat and homeowners. Therefore, successful homebuyers must also be willing to contribute “sweat equity” by volunteering on Habitat projects and complete a substantial financial education course. Successful applicants will be able to repay an affordable mortgage on a monthly basis.

Habitat is an Equal Housing Lender and all programs proactively comply with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
