Founded in 1994, Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community and hope. Habitat operates an affordable homeownership program designed to build strength, stability and self-reliance for local residents in need. Habitat relies heavily on volunteers and a staff dedicated to excellence, kindness, and service.
The Volunteer Coordinator is the heart of Habitat and serves as the primary contact for potential, current, and prior volunteers. He or she also works closely with other staff members and core volunteers to coordinate projects. This position is $15-$16 hourly depending on experience, 30 hours per week. Some evening/Saturday availability is required.
