Hello Habitat supporters,

As you know, all of us are being encouraged to practice social distancing and avoid in-person gatherings, especially those over ten people. To ensure everyone can still take part in our home dedication on Thursday, March 19 at 6PM, we will livestream it on our Facebook page.

Please join us tomorrow at 6PM to welcome our newest Habitat homebuyer, Ryan! And thank you so much for your support for bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. In times of economic instability, having an affordable place to call home is more critical than ever. Thank you for making that possible for so many of our neighbors.

As of today, here are the proactive precautions we are taking to reduce the spread of COVID-19 for the duration of the month. As we get closer to April, we will update you with any changes:

  • The ReStore is reducing the number of hours we are open to the public. As of today, the new schedule is from 12PM to 5PM from Monday through Saturday. Employees may still be on site doing other projects to deep clean and prepare the store for customers to shop safely.
  • Volunteer build activity will wrap up this Saturday, March 21 through the end of the month.
  • Again, the home dedication tomorrow night will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. We strongly encourage anyone who would like to attend to do so via livestream in order to limit the spread of the virus.

Ways you can help slow the spread of COVID-19:

  • As always, if you feel sick, stay at home.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Avoid shaking hands and hugging.
  • Monitor the CDC and WHO webpages that have been set up for guidance on coronavirus.
